In June 2018, KYMCO announced worldwide availability of Noodoe Navigation. The system was designed around a rider-centric approach, presenting navigation information in a format intended to reduce the need for repeated visual attention to a screen.
KYMCO described features including at-a-glance directions, street-countdown indications, pre-ride destination entry and personalized journeys. The company also described an integration between Noodoe and the Ionex electric scooter ecosystem.
Noodoe is an important part of the digital history behind KYMCO Virtual because it demonstrates an approach in which software, connected services and the scooter's interface are considered together rather than as separate products.
